The People Behind Eldarlands Publishing

Eldarlands Publishing is currently a small production company but we’re steadily growing.
Our services have been hired out from time to time but occasionally we stumble across someone who wants to help us. These are the people you’ll find below.
They’re authors, publishers, actors, musicians, animators, and so much more. These are the people who make what we do come to life.

Authors

Levi Samuel Rikard

The founder of Eldarlands Publishing and author to most of our productions, Levi Samuel Rikard is a fast learner who isn’t afraid to try something new. The majority of what you see on this site was his creation from start to finish, but he remains humble.
Born in Elk City Oklahoma, 1986, he was raised in Springfield Missouri. In high school he discovered the game, Dungeons and Dragons, as well as a Live Action Role Playing group where he truly discovered who he was. He joined the Army right out of High School but quickly realized that wasn’t the life for him. Returning home he hit the job market and quickly mastered a number of skills in various fields but the quest for happiness continued to evade him.
In 2008 he became a father and has raised his daughter by himself ever since. In 2009 he decided to write a book, the book that began his lifelong career.
In 2013 his first published work came in the form of a contract job under his penname, Samuel Rikard for New Babel Books. He’s completed numerous jobs with that publisher as well as a few others before he learned the ins and outs of the publishing industry. It was then he decided to create Eldarlands Publishing and branch out on his own. Since that time he’s been a guest author and speaker at many sci-fi and fantasy conventions, he’s taught classes on book writing and marketing, and he’s constantly striving to create new books while studying the market to better serve his previous work.
Levi, his daughter, and their cat, Alona reside in a cabin in the woods someplace in Arkansas.

Editors

Edward Gehlert

Edward Gehlert is a talented author, editor, publisher, and all around great guy! He’s been in the publishing industry for decades and has more published words behind him than most will ever consider.

Hello all! Thank you for stopping in and paying my little slice of the internet a visit!
I was raised in Owensville, Missouri. A small town almost directly in the center of the state. When I was around thirteen my family packed up and moved a few towns over to Belle. A lovely area with plenty of farmland, nature, and history.
After graduating from high school I went to college at CMSU but dropped out after a few semesters. I traveled the country and eventually ended up living in San Diego. In that beautiful city I would start what eventually turned into my career.
I got a job as a copy editor at a publishing company and the rest is history! Well, a lot more history like I moved back to Missouri and fell in love with my wonderful wife!
I love reading books of all kinds and I truly enjoy movies. Spending time with my beautiful wife and ornery kid (Just kidding buddy, you know I love you!) is the highlight of my day.
I can usually be found working on one writing project or another in my home office, which I share with my wife so really it is “our” office, or enjoying the company of friends.
Feel free to head on over to Facebook and like my Author Page. I would truly love hearing from you!

Kristi Hart

Kristi Hart is a well rounded nerd and loves to show it. She spends her time attending conventions and playing Dungeon’s and Dragons. She also happens to be an avid collector.
Kristi is also a skilled editor and has worked with us on a few productions.

Voice Talent

Adam Bass

Adam Bass is a multimedia production specialist when he’s not busy enjoying the nerd life. He’s served as the lead marketing manager for several Missouri conventions and makes frequent appearances at many of the local cosplay events, photo shoots, and general nerdfests. Professionally, he produces music, voice work, and audio for O’Reilly Auto Parts based out of Springfield, Missouri.
With his production and marketing backgrounds, Adam was asked to consider recording a few audio books for us. After a little arm twisting, he agreed.
